During a introduction meeting (17 November 2024) at our QTH - of a new Foundation Board Member (Willem) - I insisted to have at least a brief Hell Net QSO; as I am used to since autumn 1976.

Eric took some quick pictures as well as some short mp4 Hell-mode transmission recordings

be it receiving and/or transmitting actually.

The front panel of our Telefunken AS 60 (Swiss nomenclature M1K)

Currently generating ca. 200 W

The colours are a bit towards blue, most likely being caused by the fact that Eric is operating a flash-light which his camera did activate automatically.

Since I suppose 5 years or longer I do no longer operate our KWE-a or Köln E52a receiver

as the local QRM is making reasonable reception impossible.

The main reason Europe wide is the general negligence of the State Controlled often Telecommunications related organisation.

Due to this it has become an impossible up-hill battle against far east producers.

Luckily there are now so-called Web-SDR receiving sites in operation and reasonable reception is possible, albeit providing ground-noise generally at a S-5 signal level.

I am operating (using) the Dutch Maasbree Web-SDR since quite some years now, and with good results.

Its east location about Venlo makes this station particularly favourable for communicating with German and Scandinavian stations; albeit the formerly also signals from Paris and beyond could be well received.

Eric did photograph my paper-bin, which actually is the space between our T200FK39a transmitter and by bureau-desk

On the laptop screen we can notice the waterfall diagram showing the typical signals, such as: SSB CW and that like

Neglecting the many stations operating "Over the Horizon" radar signals, which you will encounter in numerous signal responses.

This photograph should be considered self-explaining
