The push-pull valve holder of the FuG200 (Hohentwiel) radar transmitter

The push-pull base (socket) fit with a pair of RD12Tf

It is clear that the two RD12Tf valves are mounted in rotated directions as to facilitate push-pull wiring. This transmitter provided 35 kW (puls) power output at 490 MHz (prf = 50 Hz)

Interesting is also, that these valves did not need a getter provision, as their anodes were made out-of, or coated with, zirconium
